What's next?

Things are good. On paper, at least. You’ve built something meaningful. A career, a reputation, a life that works. You’re someone people rely on.

And yet, there’s a quiet sense that something is shifting. Not wrong. Not broken. Just no longer quite right.

You feel it in the questions that keep resurfacing and the sense that what got you here may not carry you forward. You’re not starting over, but you’ve reached a point where the old answers no longer fit.

That’s not a problem. It’s a prompt.

A Different Kind of Conversation

Coaching opens the door to to take a clear look at your life as it is now. Not to start over, but to understand what matters, what needs to shift, and where to focus next.

We focus on what’s real, make decisions, and move things forward.

Work with me

My practice is grounded in the ideas behind my book, SHIFT: 7 Mindsets for an Inspired Midlife, and has become the primary focus of my work.

I work with people who have built full lives and are now facing a different set of questions. Questions about direction, meaning, relationships, energy, and what the next chapter is meant to hold.

My approach is practical and direct. I will listen carefully, but I will also challenge you when it matters. The goal is not more insight for its own sake, but clarity that leads to action.

1-1 Coaching

This is the core of the work. One-on-one coaching designed to help you get clear, make decisions, and move forward in a way that actually holds. You bring what’s real, and we work through it together. There is space to think, but this is not just reflection. Each session is designed to move something forward, with a clear focus on what matters now and what needs your attention.
Choose 1:1 coaching if:
  • You want focused attention on what matters most
  • You’re working through something complex or hard to untangle
  • You’re ready to make decisions and act
  • You value honest challenge, not just support
In our work together, we will:
  • Get clear on what matters now
  • Identify what’s getting in the way and deal with it
  • Make decisions you’ve been avoiding
  • Take action that leads to real progress
You will leave each session with clarity and a next step you can act on. Over time, that builds momentum. You begin to see the impact in the decisions you make, the conversations you have, and the way you move through your life.
What changes:
You get clear on what matters. You make decisions you’ve been avoiding. You take action and move forward.

COACHING CIRCLES

For some, this work is even more effective in a group setting. Coaching circles bring together a small number of people navigating similar questions, creating space for shared perspective, honest conversation, and collective momentum. If that feels like a better fit, we can explore that together.
What to Expect
  • A small, committed group for 90 minutes over 6 weeks
  • Real conversations, not surface-level sharing
  • Structured sessions that keep things moving
  • Space to reflect, speak, and take action
Why It Works
  • You hear your own experience in others.
  • You gain perspective you would not find on your own.
  • You move forward with the support and momentum of the group.
This Is for You If
  • You value shared experience and perspective
  • You prefer not to go it alone
  • You want to benefit from other perspectives
  • You are ready to take action, not just reflect

Preparing for more than just financial freedom.
The Retirement Rehearsal is a 6-week coaching circle for people approaching retirement or asking deeper questions about what comes next. Together, we explore identity, purpose, relationships, health, structure, and meaning beyond work. Through guided conversation, reflection, and practical exercises, participants begin designing a next chapter worth arriving into.
The Male Friendship Factor:
Building stronger connections for men
Friendship is one of life’s most grounding forces, yet for many men it remains an untapped adventure. Over six weeks, this coaching circle explores what makes male friendships meaningful, memorable, and genuinely enjoyable. Drawing on ideas from Breaking the Male Code: Unlocking the Power of Friendship, Billy No-Mates, Of Boys and Men, and Mayflies, we will look at what it takes to build connections that feel real and lasting. This is a space to move through midlife with curiosity, openness, and a renewed sense of what friendship can be.
Transitions:
SHIFT: When life is rearranging itself
A six-week small-group coaching circle for people who sense something is changing and don’t want to miss what it’s asking of them. Each 90-minute session combines 20-30 minutes of focused content with facilitated coaching conversations. This is a space to slow down, get honest about what’s changing and walk away with thoughtful next steps. Runs for 6 consecutive weeks.
Shifting Role as Parent:
Staying close while letting go
Parenting changes. Sometimes gradually, sometimes all at once. Whether your kids are pulling away, stepping into adulthood, or the house is starting to feel a little quieter, the role is shifting. Staying Close While Letting Go is a six-week coaching circle for parents navigating that transition. Using Doing Life with Your Adult Children as a guide, we’ll explore how to step back without disconnecting, set healthy boundaries, and stay meaningfully connected as your children grow into their own lives. This is a space for honest conversation, practical insight, and a clearer sense of your role in this next chapter. A chance to stay close, even as you let go.
